Durham Riding Candidates Debate on Small Business Issues This month's Clarington Business Group Breakfast Meeting will feature a provincial candidates debate on small business issues. All three Durham Riding candidates candidates running in the up-coming Provincial Election will be participating participating in this forum. This interactive meeting will provide provide an opportunity for the candidates to both hear directly from small businesses businesses on provincial issues that affect them and give the candidates a chance to respond to these concerns. Bailie, Chief Election Officer of Ontario announced todaÿ' that the Permanent Register of Electors foi; Ontario will be used to prepare the preliminary Voters Lists for the next provincial general election. election. The Permanent Register of Electors for Ontario (PREO) is an automated database of electors qualified to vote that is maintained on an ongoing basis. Spring Clean-up In Bowmanville Creek Valley Come enjoy the arrival of spring in one of our community's most beautiful natural areas and provide a valuable community service at the same time! On Saturday, May 15th between 9 tun, and 12 p.m., volunteers arc hosting hosting a clean-up of the Bowmanville Creek vallcyltmds from Highway 2 to Baseline Road. Wo will be meeting at the north parking lot (off Roenigk Drive) at 9 a,m. for instructions and distribution of garbage bags. Volunteers will be treated to a delicious delicious barbecued lunch, courtesy of The Bowmanville Lions Club, Come for as little, or as long as you like! Don't forget your boots and gloves!
