Ebenezer U.C.W. News Fourteeen U.C.W. ladies met at Ebenezer on Tuesday, June 8, 1999. Greta Down opened the meeting with a suitable poem called 'Keep looking up'. We repeated repeated the U.C.W. purpose followed by the Lord's prayer. Marie Adams was in charge of the program program which was based on the Stewardship theme, Marie introduced Janet Chartrcn who is part of a Pastoral Care Program and : a faithful member of our congregation. We learned of the courses given at the Hospital to assist persons and their families deal with life, sickness and death - the true stewardship of caring. After the Scripture reading, Matthew 25: 34-40 and prayer, Marie spoke of random random acts of kindness as a caring of the heart. The hymns, carefully chosen to emphasize the theme, were 'Breathe on me Breath of God' and 'Take My Life and Let It Be'. Marie closed this excellent meeting with prayer. Mildred Muir and Margaret Down served refreshments. The privilege to use another person's property is obtained for a special purpose or necessary benefit (such as an entrance way, hydro line, etc.) and not just for the general use or occupation of the land. The most common type of easement is the Right-of-Way. This right of use "runs with the land", meaning it passes from owner to owner at the time of a sale or deed transfer and it binds all subsequent owners. If an easement exists on property it should be shown on the survey. Easements give a mere right to pass and repass over a neighbour's property - but never to obstruct the area. It is therefore not acceptable to park a vehicle in or otherwise block a right-of-way. As Realtors, we know that it's vitally important that easements be accurately identified, described and acknowledged by prospective purchasers. Proper registcrablc legal description must be used on ALL documents pertaining to a Real Estate transaction, such as Listing Agreements and Offers to Purchase.
