A belated happy birthday to Mrs. Laverne Taylor! She doesn't get older; she gets better. A small group of women met at the Sunday School last Wednesday to make some plans and discuss some needs in our church. The general consensus was that there is lots to do, inside and outside of the traditional UCW structure. All women of the church should feel free to come to any event. Just look for info in the bulletin or in this column. One immediate plan is to take in Tea an Scones at Bowmanville Museum this Wednesday! The water situation at the church was thoroughly discussed at the Congregational Meeting on July 7. It was decided to install a new, larger pressure tank. Vacation Bible School is coming coming up soon. Sharon Trudeau is asking that anyone interested in helping for all week or even one day, to give her a call at 263- 1022.
