The programmes programmes begin in the log cabin at 11 a.m. for 4-7 year olds and 1:30 p.m. for 8-12 year olds. Other Saturday activities activities include Wetland Wings, a guided walk beginning in the log cabin at 2 p.m., and an evening program entitled Wild About Wetlands at 9 p.m. in the Amphitheatre. Sunday, another guided walk entitled Wetland Wander takes place, beginning at the canoe rentals at 10 a.m. Evening canoe cruises on McLaughlin Bay are offered on both days at 7:30 p.m. at the canoe rentals. DAYLILIES IN BLOOM -- This Saturday and Sunday We're In The Hayfield Now Daylily Gardens will be open to the public between 10 a.m, and 4 p.m. for the annual Open Garden. The gardens, displaying about 40,000 different varieties of daylilies in bloom, are located just off the 5th Concession on Pollard Road in Orono. The public will also be able to purchase purchase daylilies and tour the beautiful gardens. Garden statuettes and flower-covered trellises dot the Conboys' yard on North Street in Newcastle.
