On Saturday, Oct. 2, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the committee will be staging its highly successful Harvest Halloween Luminary event. This year, the committee has expanded the luminary by adding four more activities. However, also being sought out is local talent (professional or amateur) who would like to take part in this unique event. This is a family oriented oriented program based on traditional celebrations of the fall and harvest season. The event's primary focus is children, but all ages will find the luminary fun and exciting. The program includes making tin lanterns, mad hats, spooky apples and traditional games and refreshments.
