OCT. 2 The Newcastle Fall Festival offers all-day activities, starting with the Firelighters' Pancake Breakfast in the Community Hall at 8 a.m., and the Newcastle Lions Walk-a-dog-a-thon at 9 a.m. There will also be a craft sale in the Hall starting at 9 a.m. All-day activities on the street include the BIA Bed Races, an antique car show, jumping castle for the kids, a visit from an elephant from Bowmanville Zoo, and lots of musical entertainment, entertainment, fun and food. There will also be a bike rodeo and registration. The day finishes with a licensed YUK YÜK'S performance in the Community Hall. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $ 15 each, and arc available at Stcd- rnan's at 20 King St. E. in Newcastle. The fall and winter craft and gift show will be held at Pontypool United Church on John Street in Pontypool from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Light refreshments, refreshments, door prizes, and a children's craft table will be available.
