"A friend gave me the 'Little Book on Shoes' and I just found it delight- 1 ful," she recalls. "I was taken with shoes as an art form." The shoes and teapots have titles which range from Elizabeth and Emily, her two daughter's names, to Marina and Neptune, for two fishy creations. Alter perfecting her designs, Ms. McHugh contracted artisans in China to reproduce them so she could offer limited editions of her work which arc available through an upscale interior interior design supplier.
