The curator is responsible to the Board of Directors for all matters regarding the operation of a community museum under the standards for museums set out under the Ontario Heritage Act. Including but not limited to managing the collection, collection, building maintenance, staff training and supervision, museum security, education education and outreach programmes, research requests, basic conservation treatments, treatments, designing and mounting changing exhibits, implementing all policies set by the board and advising on new ones.
