One week after the organization organization recorded its first win in franchise history, the atom and tyke teams both recorded home field wins Sunday. The tykes posted a 21-14 vic tory over Etobicoke for the first win of the season for the young team. Byron Lott had all three touchdowns for Clarington. with Daniel Sondcrskov scoring a convert. Greg Konarowski and Peter Johnson Jr. also had strong games for the team, which improved improved to 1-4 on the season. The atom team also produced a victory with a lopsided 47-6 win against Etobicoke. It was the second win of the season for the atoms against three losses. Michael Boucher and Rory Johnson had two touchdowns each, with Reid McDonald and Matt Walker collecting one apiece. Shawn Bickle had three converts in the win. Both Clarington minor football football teams will be in action this Sunday with home games against Newmarket at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Home games are played at St. Stephen's Secondary School, 30 Middle Rd. in Bow- manvillc.
