BOWMANVILLE - Santa's best known reindeer will be making his very first appearance in the Bowmanville Bowmanville Santa Claus Parade Parade this year. "It's the 39th parade and Rudolph has never been on the sleigh," explains Diana Williamson, parade spokesman. "He freed up his schedule to join his brothers." In fact, Rudolph had the special honour of having his likeness molded by the same artist, Mark Selkirk, who created the moose mold for Toronto's moose festival this summer. Next year, the parade committee hopes to be able to recreate the likeness of all the other reindeer from the same mold, says Ms. Williamson.
