The hockey club put two impressive impressive outings together over the weekend and were rewarded with a pair of wins. Both victories victories came in a similar fashion, with dramatic comebacks in the third period. Friday night in Syracuse, Bowmanvilie trailed 5-4 before scoring three times in the final four minutes to pull out a 7-5 victory. Sunday night the team duplicated the feat, erasing a two-goal deficit in the third period period to gain a 6-5 win over Kingston. "We told the players after the game that they had every reason in the world to pack it in down two goals in the third but they didn't and we got stronger as the game went on," said coach Curtis Curtis Hodgins. What made the two comebacks comebacks even more surprising is that Bowmanvilie was operating with a short bench in both games due to injuries and suspensions.
