The four individuals and one team to be enshrined in May have strong connections to the local sports scene at a grassroots level, a bit of a departure departure from previous years when at least one inductee starred on the national or international international stage. Ivan Locke, Don Mcll- veen, Tom O'Connor, Joe Pi- ontek and the 1953 Oshawa McCalium Transporters baseball baseball team were introduced as the newest inductees prior to Monday's council meeting at Oshawa City Hall.
