Sunday's win served as sweet revenge revenge for the Generals, who were hammered 9-3 in Belleville last Wednesday. "They had a little swagger to them the other night and they were laughing laughing pretty good at us," says Burnett. "I think you have to be humble when you win and I'm not sure the two points they lost tonight aren't going to hurt them in the standings and it's a credit to our guys to come back with such a strong effort." The Generals built a 3-0 lead through two periods on goals by Ben Eager (4th), Tobias Whelan (5th) and Scott Rozcndal (20th), but it turned into a 3-2 nailbiter during a 70-sec- ond span early in the third period, as Belleville defenceman David Cor- nacchia jumped into the slot to beat Derek Dolson twice. "I don't think we laid off Belleville, it just shows you how good they are," says Burnett. "We're playing to win, I think that's important for our club that we establish for our players that's why we're here," he says. "We're going to put our best foot forward on Friday night, I think it's really important in the scheme of things that wc leave with a really good feeling about what this team is capable of accomplishing, understanding understanding what's necessary to win.
