Despite falling behind by a wide margin in the championship championship game, the Cobras prevailed prevailed to win the title. Advancing all the way through to the championship game, the Cobras were down 6-0 after the first inning and 8-1 heading into the bottom of the second before rallying for a 21-12 victory over Mississauga, Mississauga, who were defending tournament champions. Malt Citron pitched great for the Cobras in the victory and Curtis Brown went three for three at the plate with two singles, a double, a walk and five runs batted in to propel the comeback. "I was very proud of the boys as everyone contributed in one way or another over the whole tournament," said coach Bill van Boxtcl. "The kids showed a lot of character with a small comeback against Brampton and a huge one in the final against Mississauga. Mississauga. "(The players) played at an all new level for the entire tournament." Prior to reaching the final the Cobras clinched first place in the division with a 10-4 win over Orillia and an easy 27-3 victory over Bloor. In the semi-finals, the Cobras edged Brampton 13-10. The tournament victory should boost the team's confidence confidence after struggling with a 2-12 record in league play this season. :ll*âpSïe : ■ , 3 V, - ' - '"'WV- I te teflMii Er/PF - ' ' Am tmr' w v ffr «■ 4 • r" j& tQJP v V > Wv§6* ■' July "Solutions for Life" Sale! Telma, what is the difference between a custom-made orthotic and an arch support I can buy at the store? Orthotics versus A. An arch support is just that, it supports your arches. Most people buy arch supports because their arches ache. The most common reason your arches ache is that you overpronate, or roll in too much onto the arches of your feet, causing them to be sore and with time, flatten. If you can control your overpronation, then your arches will feel better. So the answer is not support but controlling the problem, that is overpronation, which led to your arches being sore in the first place. arch supports. Overpronation happens for different reasons. For most people, the problem is the poor alignment of the heel, for others the poor alignment of the front of the foot. A custom made orthotic corrects your overpronation, specific to why you overpronate. An arch support cannot do this. To find out if your sore arches can benefit frqm orthotics, see Your Physiotherapist. A free five- minute computerized walking scan may tell you all you need G1 to know!
