The tradition continues across Canada when staff from CBC read the endearing story of Ebenezer Scrooge's overnight transportation from miser to warm-hearted patron, to more than 80 communities, including Bowmanville. On Sunday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m., St. Paul's United Church in Bow- manville will host one of the readings, readings, with Jov/i Taylor, host and producer of CBC Radio's Global Village as the feature storyteller. The evening will also feature music from the St. Paul's United Church Senior Choir and the Bov/manville High School Women's Choir. Proceeds will be donated to Bethesda House, Gate 3:16 and Cornerstone. Admission Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children and $25 for families.
