Through a number of annual fundraising projects we are able to give substantial support to our national charity of choice, The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as well as many local organizations and social service agencies. The "Kinsmen Home Show" is one of our largest and longest-running projects showcasing over 100 merchants, offering the residents of Clarington exposure to a wide variety of products and services, covering all aspects of the "home improvement" market. The success the "Home Show", and that of every event we choose to undertake, is dependent upon the very generous public support we have come to rely on as volunteer members of the Municipality. Our intent has always been to offer "good value" in fair exchange for every donation we solicit. The Kinsmen Club of Bowmanville presents "Lobsterfest" on June 8,2002 at the Newcastle Town Hall featuring a l to 2 lb fresh lobster, all-you-can-eat beef, potatoes, vegetables, dessert, and tea/coffee.
