The Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board is offering offering a 'First Ride.' The program will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 24, at St. Stephen's Secondary School, 30 Middle Rd. in Bow- manville. "It is our hope this program will eliminate some of the fears kindergarten kindergarten and other children experience on their first day of school and riding the school bus," said Mike Langlois, director director of education for PVNC.
