The theme of the program is based upon a beaver colony. It focusses on sharing, cooperation and playing in small groups, in harmony with nature. Individual competition and structured achievement are not part cl the program. WOLF CUBS (8 to 10 years) The Wolf Cub program includes a mixture of games, crafts, music, stories, acting, outdoor activities, star and badge .work. Cubbing allows children to work in small groups called sixes to complete projects. The cub program extends into the community through visits to places such as lire departments, libraries, (arms and so on. SCOUTS (11 to 14 years) Scout activities place the emphasis on citizenship development while living in harmony with nature and the environment. Hiking, camping, exploring, summer and winter sports and community service comprise activities of Scouts. VKNTURBRS (14 to 17 years) Venturers are interested in the outdoors, in exploring new activities such as sailing, backpacking, cross-country skiing, lifesaving lifesaving or helping senior citizens. Venturers meet in groups called companies, whose membership Is based upon common friendship and interests. R0VIR8 (18 to 26 years) The program ottered by a particular Rnver crew Is created by the Rovers themselves. Rovers work In groups called crows and together with an Advisor conduct their own meeting, provide service to their community and take part In adventurous activities. Rovers is Scouting's most senior program section. Many Rovers work as leaders with other sections.
