Ms. Benedict has been elected as the 59th president for the Board of Governors of the Ontario Teachers' Federation. She has been a member of the OTF Board of Governors since 1993 and has also served as the president for the Elementary Teachers' Teachers' Federation and the Public School Teachers' Federation. "It's going to take more than lawyers and courts to rebuild the Ontario Teachers' Federation," said Ms. Benedict. "While our house has been divided this year, we have kept it standing.
