Motorcyclist injured in crash CLARINGTON - A 56- year-old Oshawa man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident accident Sunday. Durham Regional Police said around 1:25 p.m., a man on a 2002 Harley Davidson was travelling west on Lakeshore Road in Newcastle when his bike left the road. He collided with a telephone pole and was thrown several metres from his motorcycle. The man was airlifted from the scene to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre where he remained in serious, but stable, condition Tuesday. Police said road, weather conditions, and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
