LACAC makes recommendations to Council on the preservation of structures of historical and/or architectural significance. The meetings are held the third Tuesday evening of each month. FIRE CHIEF FOR THE DAY CONTEST During Fire Prevention Week, October 6- 12, 2002, McDonald's Restaurants of Clarington and Clarington Emergency & Fire Services are offering local children an exciting chance to be "Fire Chief for the Day". The Drama program Instructors are all certified teachers who use a specially developed curriculum, allowing children to progress through introductory and advanced levels of dramatic training. JUNIOR DRAMA (5-8yrs.) Designed for primary-aged children, it introduces young actors to theatre, music, art and dance through a series of activities based on the theme of the day.
