Cimco opened the tournament with an 8-5 win over Belleville's Quality Mechanical on the strength of five goals from McPhee. Philip Ball, Tyler Mara and Elliott were the other marksmen. Maia, Mara, Brandon Poole and Taylor Brooks had two assists each, with one apiece to Matt Hogarth and Ball. Cimco was edged 2-1 by Os- hawa's Albert St. in the next outing as McPhee, assisted by Poole and Brooks, combined for the only goal. In Clarington Recreation Hockey League play, Cimco edged Hutton Transport 5-4. McPhee scored four times with Maia adding the other. Ball had two assists with Cody Leblanc and Colin Gallant chipping in the others. Hardwick had the shutout in a 7-0 win over Orono as McPhee scored Five times. Poolie and Maia had the others with assists to Ball and Mara. Novice A Toros split - The Clarington Bowmanville Travel Toros were involved in a couple of close games, coming out on the winning winning end of one while dropping the other in Novice A Lakeshore League play. The Toros posted a 3-2 win over Ajax, but were blanked 1-0 by Pickering. Pickering. Can- Field had the lone goal on assists from Kristian Walker and Ferren. Tyler Rich was an emergency replacement replacement in net and played an incredible incredible game.
