Andre was a leading scientist working on the Sudbury Nutrino Observatory (SNO) Project and contributed in a major ' way to its success through innovative apparatus apparatus and insightful physics analyses. He was an inspiration to his scientific colleagues and was recognized as one ol the top young particle particle astrophysicists. Andre had recently returned returned to Canada to work on SNO and to help develop Canada's new international underground underground science facility. Andre was a devoted husband, and a loving lather, son and brother. He was an avid reader, an enthusiastic debater, debater, and a world traveler who had a brilliant mind and loved all ol file. His personal motto was "l'espoir fait vivre" (hope for life), and he saw each day as a gilt, His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him or his work. Rest in peace, Andre.
