Facing elimination from the tournament, Clarington took on a high-powered team from St. Thomas, the fifth-ranked junior team in Ontario. Clarington, on the strong pitching performance performance of Robbie Callieu, won the game 3-2. Callieu threw a four-hitter and struck out 11 batters for the complete-game victory. Clarington trailed going into the last inning and was down to its last out, but with some smart base running by Atlam Barry and timely lulling lulling by Josh Dusoiue, was able to come from behind to win. Callieu pitched a three up three down seventh inning, inning, striking out the last batter to end the game. Josh Dusome had two hits, with otliers going to Nick Smith, Ryan Whitmore, Whitmore, John Popham, Mike Dressing and Adam Barry. Clarington then received a bye and moved on to face Barrie. Solo home runs by Matt Miller and Smith gave the Orioles a 4-3 victory. Barrie loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh, but failed to score thanks to some strong defence.
