On Sunday May 25,2003 Jamee Chatten, my beloved wife passed away, forever changing my life. Until Jamee's untimely passing, my involvement in the hearing health care profession was supportive. Although, not very familiar with the daily operation of the business I am well aware of Jamee's philosophy and the high level of integrity with which Jamee conducted herself both professionally and personally. My understanding of daily business happening was second hand although at times I accompanied Jamee to various engagements and functions within the profession. I never imagined that operating Chatten's Better Hearing Service would become necessary. However, this in fact is now a reality. Over the past few months many clients, suppliers and contacts in the community have expressed their sincerest condolences. I would like to lake this opportunity to extend my sincere appreciation and heartfelt thank you to everyone lor sharing your compassion and understanding during this challenging time. Jamee considered Chatten's Better Hearing Service her "baby" and her legacy. It is my intent, with the help of her long time friend, Dawn Loyst as office manager, and her long lime co-worker Lou Gualtieri, as well as her stall: Tasos Kapernekas, Linda Hester, Faye Jackson and new staff member Linda Loucks, to honour her memory by maintaining her "baby" in a manner that I believe would make her proud. An open house was planned to lake place In late May to celebrate Jamee's dream come true "the opening of a new modern office". Those activities were curtailed due to the circumstances. I am now extending my personal invitation to you to visit our office, Janice's "dream come true" and meet with the stall of Chatten's Better Hearing Service. Please drop In during lire week of September 2nd to September 4th. Our office is located at 340 Kings Street West, (between Gibbon and Park). Our phone number is (905) HEAR-ING (432-74G4).
