Overcoming a 15-minute delay in the second period while the lights at both ends of Civic Auditorium were reset, the Generals improved their OHL exhibition record to 3-0- I with a 3-2 win over the Guelph Storm. The fans were treated to an impromptu impromptu shootout during the delay, which came about when lights at one end of the building went out, followed closely by those at the other end. The four-game winning streak left the Thunder third in the Eastern division, and an impressive fifth out of 22 teams in the league.
