Combined, the Port Perry Mo- Jacks and Little Britain Merchants could muster up just live points between between them, while the mighty Bruins were off to an impressive start to the Central Ontario Jr. C season, losing just once in six outings. But they don't play the games on paper, as the Bruins quickly found out. A sure four points went down the drain, as the Bruins managed just a I- l lie in Little Britain Saturday after dropping a 5-3 decision on home ice to Port Perry on Friday. Did overconfidence play a role in both outcomes against teams with mediocre records? Coach Trevor Clark doesn't think so. And if it did, lie takes full responsibility, "l don't think we were overconfident overconfident or complacent, but at the same lime, if we were, it's our responsibility responsibility as a coaching staff to make sure the players aren't. "It's a very competitive league and you can't lake a night off," The weekend leaves the Bruins with a 5-2-1-0 record heading into Friday's home game against the Georgina lee at 7:45 p.m. Fastball title for Durham Women's team wins 11th provincial championship BY PAUL FUTHEY Staff Writer WINDSOR - It's been a long time since the women's fastball team at Durham College suffered a loss in conference play.
