In the first game the Toros downed the Caledonia Hawks 4-1. Goaltender Steven Gaitcns was especially especially sharp early on and held the Toros in until the offence kicked in. Dean Staikopoulos had a pair for the Toros with Dylan Cowlc and Josh Nieuwenhuis firing one each. Nieuwenhuis also had two assists with Corey Broome, Jake Walker, Ian Colby ' and Staikopoulos adding one each. In the second game the Toros needed overtime to get past the Kitchener Jr. Rangers 3-2. Goaltender Joshua Cole played well throughout. Jerrick Bailor fired a pair in regulation time for the Toros and Staikopoulos notched the winner in the eighth period playing two-on-two. Owen Clarke had the lone assist. That win gave the Toros a bye into the quarterfinals against the Georgetown Raiders. Overtime was needed again and it went down to one-on-one until Cowle scored his third of the game to give the Toros a 6-5 win. Nieuwenhuis had a pair and Bailor a single. Walker and Cowle chipped in with two assists each, Staikopoulos, Braden France and Clarke had one each. The thrilling OT win propelled propelled the Toros into the semis and a final four game against the Waterloo Tim- berwolves. The Toros carried carried a 4-2 lead into the third period but four unanswered goals by the Timberwolves proved too much for the Toros as they went down to defeat by a final score of 6- 4. Staikopoulos had a pair for the Toros, Calvin Lep- izzera and Bahor one each. Clarke, Nieuwenhuis, Brody Warren and Colby had one assist each. Also putting forth strong efforts for the Toros were Lucas Gibson, Zachary Bel- lisle, Quinten Carfagnini and Zachary Bonura.
