The Toros were the only Canadian team playing in the Mite Division of the series. The Clarington team faced squads from Monroe County, Perinton and Batavia, ranging in skill from A to AAA rep levels. The Toros played very well but took some time getting accustomed to the changes in rules, game duration and puck weight during round robin play. • The Toros came up against the Batavia Ramparts for the second time during the series in the B Division Championship. The Toros had played the Ramparts earlier in the tournament with their game ending in a 5-5 tie. In the championship the Toros came out on top with a convincing 5-1 win against the Ramparts.
