In August, 168 children participated participated in the Kids N' Kops program run by Big Brothers and Sisters of Clarington, Clarington, in conjunction with Durham Regional Police Service, the Ontario Provincial Police, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Oshawa/Whitby. . The children, aged nine to 12, were tested at the beginning of the program on their knowledge of policing policing and safety.
