Emergency Auto Dial Testing December 1, 2003 T he Region of Durham's Emergency Measures Office will be conducting its annual test of the Region's Emergency Auto Dialing System. This year's test will be conducted in a segment segment of the Clarington area, on Tuesday December 9, 2003. Approximately 2000 households will be notified of the test through the auto-dial procedure. The area covered will be bordered by Baseline Road to the south, Courtice Road to the west, Taunton Road to the north and Martin Road to the East. The testing will measure the effectiveness and timeliness of the notification procedure, and is an ongoing, routine part of the Region's Emergency Preparedness mandate.
