In their opening game, the Toros downed the Nickel Centre Flyers 5-0. Scott Goodchild led the scoring with a hat trick, while Timmy Howe and Jordan Jordan Rozema each added a single. Stephen Marchant. Jacob Cole. Mitchell Hamilton. Ryan Lombard, Zachary Jones. Josh Cordery and Devin Kraayenhof (2) were credited with the assists. Dylan Wcrheid earned the shutout in net. The boys had to work hard in tile second game to come away with a l-l tie against the Walden Red Devils. Marchant scored the lone goal, with Rozema and Conner Smith assisting. Cameron Poole, playing an excellent game, made numerous key stops. In the third game the Toros trounced the Sudbury Sharks by a score of 10-1. Kraayenhof and Jones led the way with four goals each, with Howe and Cordery popping in singles. Chipping in with assists were Howe (.3). Jones ( I ). Byron Kemp ( I ). Cole ( I ). Cordery (2). Tanner Miles (2) and Marchant (2). Moving on to the semifinals, the Toros played a closer match against Rayside. Initially behind one goal in the first period, once the team got on the board they never looked hack winning this one 7-4 and earning themselves a spot in the finals. Howe had a big game with four goals, Cordery had two and Miles added a single. Assists went to Howe (2), Kraayenhof (2). Marchant (I), Cole (I), Kemp (l), Jones (I), Cordery ( l ) and Jeremy Zavitz ( I ).
