She has been a constant presence throughout the region for many years, and has been recognized in the past lor her efforts. "I'm looking forward to the next few years on the Durham College and UOIT boards; it's a different type of community service than I'm used to. There's a lot to learn and a tremendous amount of growth happening on the campus, but it's all very exciting."
