In novice AAA league play, the Toros registered a 4-0 win over the Central Wolves, while settling for ties against Ajax/Pickering 2-2 and Barrie 3-3. Scoring for Clarington against the Wolves were Daniel Michel (2), Jeremy Jeremy Osborne and Blane Gaudon. Assists Assists were from Tanner Gallant, Austin Maestre, Brodie Harkness and Jake Bradbury. The shutout went to Brennan Gregory. Against Ajax/Pickering, Michel scored both goals with assists to Reed Segriff and Tristan Maenza. Against Barrie, Jeremy Osborne potted potted a pair with one to Gallant. Kyle Murphy, Maenza and Gaudon had assists. assists. In a 3-2 loss to Richmond Hill, Myles Richards and Michel scored on assists from goaltender Matthew Mageau and Segriff. The Toros rebounded with wins of 4-3 win over Markham and 5-4 against Oshawa. Michel, Marchinent, Harkness and Jake Bradbury scored against Markham, while Bradbury, Gaudon, Gallant, Harkness and Michel did the same against Oshawa. In a tournament the team hosted, the Toros were edged 2-1 by Ajax/Pickering, blanked 6-0 by Whitby, beaten 5-1 by Peterborough and shut out 4-0 by Buffalo. Rose Valley Homes novices score in bunches until finals RICE LAKE - The Clarington Recreational Hockey League's Rose Valley Homes novices either shut out the opposition, or were shut out in a tournament in Rice Lake. Against an Oshawa team, Clay Allen scored three times while Connor Hart and Matthew Boyle potted two each in a 7-0 victory. Assists went to Cameron Bignell, Mitchell Arnold (2), Scott Mitchell, Allyson Forrest, Hart, Boyle and Allen. Goaltender Nicholas Ciulla earned the shutout. Later that day, Rose Valley came out flying against Oshawa St. Paul's in the second game of the tournament to pick up an 8-0 victory.
