Dispute over Clarington house league hockey From page 13 attended the meeting when the vote was taken to extend the term of an executive member. Jessome disputes'that, saying he wasn't at the meeting nor invited to attend. While Jessome has heard the accusations accusations he has ulterior motives in regards to his intentions, he says he is only looking looking out for the best interests of the more than 1,500 kids involved in the house league. "I'm not going to run for president again," he points out. "I'm more valuable valuable to the kids and parents in the league acting as a political watchdog and parent parent liaison than I am as president of the league. "I do want to make this very clear, though," he continues. "Most of the executive members are hard working and honest and there for the kids, It's only a handful of the ones controlling things." More than midway through his first term as president, Lcnehan says • it "doesn't hurt to have someone sec what we are doing.-Things need to be done the proper way because we arc such a large organization." But at the same time, there are limits to the scrutiny, he notes, "We arc trying to take all the right steps. We don't need someone questioning questioning everything we do. Some of the executive members arc getting led up and some are upset at the allegations that arc being thrown around," he concludes. Jason - Sr. Stylist Get  Head Start...
