But Bereaved Families of Ontario-Durham Region is taking some of that darkness away, with the Angels' Tree of Light Memorial Service. The event is set for Tues day. Nov. 29. at the Durham District School Board office, 400 Taunton Rd. E. in Whitby. Whitby. Those who have lost a loved one will be able to purchase hand-made crocheted angels in advance, with the name of the loved ones written on the ribbon. As well, the names will appear on a memorial plaque located next to the tree. Donations to the Angels' Tree of Light help Bereaved Families of Ontario-Durham Region offer ongoing support support through a variety of services services and public education.
