J durhamregion.com Liberals host political lampoon night Rick Currie and Lawrence Morgenstern ready to take jabs at left, right and centre NEWCASTLE -- Political junkies and comedy lovers may want to mark May 25 on their calendars, as Yuk Yuk's comedians Rick Currie and Lawrence Morgenstern will be in Newcastle, taking taking jabs at-politicians left, right and centre. The Durham Federal Liberal Association Association is hosting a political lampoon night fundraiser, to be held at the Newcastle Community Hall, 20 King Ave. W. The event runs from 7:15 to 10:15 p.m. Mr. Currie is a veteran on the Canadian Canadian comedy scene, having appeared at both the People's Comedy Festival in Toronto and the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal.
