The Orono resident inked a three year deal with the Chicago Blackhawks prior to the June 1 deadline to sign 2004 draft picks. If he didn't sign, he would have went back into this year's draft. Bickell closed out the OHL season with the Windsor Spitfires, after being traded by the Ottawa 67's, totalling 83 points in 67 games, and doubling his previous career high in goals with 45. The 6-foot-4, 221-pound winger recorded 28 goals and 22 assists in 41 games with Ottawa, then totalled 33 points (17-16) in 26 games after being traded to Windsor. ' In the playoffs, he notched five goals and added five assists in seven games. Bickell was drafted in the second round, 41st overall by the Blackhawks in 2004. At Darlington Nuclear, and throughout Ontario Power Generation, we are dedicated to reaching and maintaining top performance - especially in the areas of electricity production, safety, environmental protection and community citizenship. OPG's Darlington, Pickering A, and Pickering B Nuclear stations produced about 32% of the electricity used by Ontario during the first quarter. Our nuclear production was about 6% higher than for the same period last year. OPG's nuclear stations produce electricity at a regulated price of 4.95 cents per kilowatt hour - which helps moderate the price that consumers pay. We are proud of our contribution to serving Ontario's electricity needs. I am pleased to give you this update on our performance at Darlington Nuclear during the first quarter of 2006. Gregory Smith, Senior Vice President, Darlington Nuclear DURING THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2006: ✓ Darlington Nuclear produced 7.2 terawatt hours of electricity, slightly above our production in the first quarter of 2005. Our production met about 18% of Ontario's electricity needs. ✓ Darlington's unit capability factor for the first quarter was 95%, which represents very good performance. Unit capability factor is a measure of the percentage of time the station was available to make electricity. ✓ During the first quarter, Darlington Unit 3 began a planned maintenance outage after operating continuously for 492 days, which was an outstanding production run for this unit.
