Despite taking five penalties to Whitby's one, the Gaels controlled controlled most of the game with good passing and solid checking and goaltcnding, showing an aggressive aggressive attack and confident defense through most of the game. .Scoring for the Gaels were Luke Keenan and Luke Burghardt with four goals each, Steve Cote with a pair and Owen Maguire and Jake Wynne with singles. Wynne, Burghardt, Keenan, Justin Bragg, Carson Lccours and Erik S trahi added assists. At Top Cup in Etobicoke, Struzina, swimming with the Oshawa Aquatic Club, captured four gold and a bronze competing competing against the best clubs from Ontario and Quebec. She will be challenging the best at the Central Region and Provincial Championships in June and July. Solid start for CLARINGTON - The Clarington Peewee II Green Gaels team has performed well through five games, recording three wins and two losses. The team came out strong against Northumberland . recording a 9-2 and 6-3 wins. In game three, the Green Gaels faced the Peterborough Peterborough Lakers with the Lakers finishing on top with a 4-0 finish. The second loss was against the Whitby Warriors #3 team with an 8-3 finish. The Gaels were back in top form .for game five against Markham. With solid teamwork teamwork and determination, the Gaels landed the win with the final score at 8-3.
