The players got off to a good start, defeating West Durham 14-0. They continued their winning ways with a strong effort against Orillia, coming out on top 10-1. This set up a match with arch rival Whitby. The Gaels came out of the ■ gate slow, getting down 5-0 by the end of the first period and never recovered, losing by a final score of 14-2. The Gaels last game was against Peterborough and after a tough first period, the Gaels played great lacrosse, : but came out on the short end of a 7-4 score. The bad news: they dropped a< 9- 5 decision on the road to the Six Nations Chiefs and still trail the Barrie Barrie Lakeshores for third place in the Major Series Lacrosse league by three points.
