Their first game was a 4-1 win, followed by a 0-0 tie and 3-0 win, advancing the team to the semifinal, where they registered a 1-0 victory. They won their final game with a last minute goal by Matthew Peters assisted by Cameron Gilmore to make it a 1-0 win. The MVP of the game was Cameron Gilmore. Coaches of the game were Tim Ber- nie and assistant coach Rob Trevisan, while the manager is Karen Hunt. This time, the Clarington Play it Again/Sure Fit Novice 1 Gaels captured the Six Nations Invitational Lacrosse Tournament. The team was backed by stellar goaltending goaltending from Carter Kolarek and Liam Wynne to bounce back from an earlier loss to the Peterborough Lakers, meet ing the same Lakers team in the final and defeating them 8-4. The weekend started off on- the right foot with wins over Owen Sound 12-5 and London 18-2, followed by a 5-3 win over Six Nations.
