Definitely off the ice. Mike Laing, who was instrumental in resurrecting the Dunlops and served as president for the first two seasons, will resign that post at the team's Annual General Meeting on Sept. 17. Captain Peter MacKellar, meantime, is mulling over an offer to return to the Central Hockey League and is expected to make a decision decision this week. As for Laing, he will remain on the board as past- president and assume a post that "will afford me the opportunity opportunity to spend a lot more time with my family and my business," he said in a written release.
