History of the Collection

The Beall family photo albums and the Green Island Hunt Club were donated to the Kawartha Lakes Public Library. The Beall family scrapbooks were donated to the Victoria County Historical Society. As you will see, the Beall family are proud of their roots in the Lindsay area and have long worked to preserve local history.
Note about the scrapbooks: While there are two Beall scrapbooks, we chose to digitize only volume 2, as volume 1 did not contain information about the Beall family or local history.
