- A copy of The Royal Proclamation of 1763, also referred to as "The Indian Bill of Rights". It was signed by King George III of England following the Seven Years War, recognizing Indigenous title to land and resources. This proclamation formed the basis for Treaties, recognizing Indigenous claims to land, stating that only the Crown could negotiate treaties, symbolized a relationship of trust between the Crown and Indigenous peoples, acknowledged traditional governance systems and offered official protection of Indigenous territories through the establishment of hunting grounds.
