Mrs Drury Ridgley inherited this property including the old school building from her father Mr James Anderson.Mr Anderson had traded some acreage south of Highway 17 for the old school building and it's yard, to Clarence Eaket who developed the acreage into a subdivision and sold the school board the land they needed for the new school.
