I remember as a child being woke up in the middle of the night by the call boy to take my dads orders for his trip on the 4008 to atikokan. Mom and dad would get up. Mom would prepare dad's food for the trip and dad would pack his moosehide bag that Mr Stamler had made for him.

My papa told me that my papa's dad's dad drove this CNR Steam Powered Locomotive #4008. It is really cool to know that our family has some really cool history inside the Fowler's family and when I drove by this Locomotive, every time we went to Rainy River I would wonder what it would be like to have driven a really old transportation vehicle!
