Bigwin Inn, Lake of Bays, view of sun deck, marine and main dining rooms and round room.
Notes
Bigwin Inn was opened to the public June 26, 1920, on Bigwin Island on Lake of Bays. It was built by Charles Orlando Shaw who was a major shareholder of the Huntsville, Lake of Bays and Lake Simcoe Navigation Company and manager of the Anglo-
Canadian Leather Company, the largest makers of sole leather in the British Empire, and the Anglo-Canadain Concert Band. Charles Orlando Shaw died in 1942. Bigwin Inn closed its doors in 1968.

reverse: "Sumaro - Bigwin Island Hotel, most beautiful playground overlooking the famous Lake of Bays in Ontario's north country, contains the Sun Deck, Marine and Main Daining Rooms, and Round Room. The centre of all entertainment without parallel for this area. Visitors from all over the world are thrilled with this cavalcade of colour and Bigwin's beautiful Sumaro.
