- Description
- The R.M.S. Segwun shown in Bracebridge Bay during the early years of her run. Originally built in 1887 as the Nipissing II, she underwent extensive renovations in 1925 and was given a new name - Segwun. With the end of the steamboat era in the 1950's, she became a museum in Gravenhurst. Later purchased and restored by the Ontario Roadbuilders, she returned to sailing on the Muskoka lakes. After 1983, she could no longer sail into Bracebridge Bay, due to the construction of a low bridge.
- Notes
- On the hilltop, one can see the Muskoka District Court House on the right and the Mahaffy home (later Inn at the Falls) on the left.
