Description
Sagamo awaits passage from Lake Rosseau to Lake Muskoka at Port Carling lock in 1958, her final season before retirement. Note the marking on the boat for The 100 Mile Cruise which was a very popular all-day excursion from 1923 to 1958. Passengers would travel by train from Toronto, spend the night aboard Sagamo and travel the following day, enjoying lunch on shore at Natural Park, then returning to the ship for the cruise back to their starting point.
