- Description
- Muskoka Navigation Company steamers Oriole (in right foreground) and Medora (behind wharf) at Beaumaris about 1900. The Oriole was on the noon run into Bracebridge and once (after this picture was taken) upset in the Muskoka River luckily without any loss of life. After this event, false sides were added to the Oriole's hull making it more stable.
